Anticipation….
May 12, 2010
I hear of schools that sleepily “wind down” to a close. I’m also hearing of schools (public and private) with sorrow and morale challenges as programs and positions are eliminated, classroom sizes grow, while students pay the largest price. Frankly, neither “wind down” nor program damage are in Greater Atlanta Christian’s repertoire, for now or next year! So before you put on your summer sandals, and definitely before your kids close their books, there are some big things brewing. Read More

Wednesday, April 28th will be a day that will remain special to the GACS family for years to come. When His Excellency President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda arrived on campus with his motorcade of vehicles, the crowd of students, from Kindergarten through grade twelve, cheered and waved the flags of their country and his. A spirit of compassion and partnership filled the air. Over 1900 students joined teachers, staff, parents, and visiting dignitaries in welcoming President Kagame to our campus. The senior high drum line played to the excitement and the young Spartans sang “I’m a Small Part of the World” in perfect, heart-warming unison. Read More
