2nd year of varsity competition.  Combining the different skills of several sports, lacrosse is

an activity that has a place for all kinds of athletes.  Come and watch one of our games and

"the fastest game on 2 feet"

History:

Lacrosse is the oldest sport in North America.  Developed by native Americans, the sport
would sometimes involve over 100 players between rival tribes covering 100s of acres and
being played for several days.  Today, lacrosse nationwide is governed by an organization
known as US Lacrosse which continues to search for different ways to honor the game by
emphasizing sportsmanship,  providing education courses and also providing national clinics
to improve coaching and skill development.  We seek to coach and play is such a way that fits
along with one of the goals of US Lacrosse which is to "honor the game".

Mission:

Our goal  here at GACS is to lift up this game to our Lord and Savior and submit to Him in such a way that He uses this game to glorify Him, build relationships and teach lessons that will last a lifetime.  Although we strive to improve and win every game, we understand that eternal truths are what will stand the test of time.  To remind us what it is all about, we have adopted the following as our team verse and slogan.

"Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to Your Name be the glory because of Your Love and Faithfulness" ~ Psalm 115:1

Team Slogan: "Together"

2010 Season Slogan: "Commit"
