We would like to invite you to participate in the third season of boys youth basketball at GAC. We are opening registration for GAC boys in the 5th and 6th grades. The registration will continue through October 31, 2012. This will be a great way for your son to be involved with Spartan Basketball and to play in a league with his classmates. The goal of the league is to provide an encouraging environment in which the qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun are highly valued.
We will hold evaluations in early November 3rd and select teams after the evaluations. Practices will begin the week of November 5th with games beginning in early December. There will be no practices or games during Thanksgiving or Christmas break. The fee for participation will be $95. This will cover the cost of uniforms, shooting shirt, officials, and equipment. Please click here to register for the league. To participate in youth basketball, a participation waiver form will also need to be completed by the parent.
· Chance to play a game in the Long Forum
· One night a week practice on campus
· 10 game regular season with games played on Saturdays on campus
· Season ends on February 2nd
· Each player will receive a shooting shirt that can be worn on Fridays as Spirit Wear
