We would like to invite you to participate in the second season of girls youth basketball at GAC. We are opening registration for GAC girls in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. The registration will continue through October 31, 2012. This will be a great way for your daughter to be involved with Lady Spartan Basketball and to play in a league with her classmates. The goal of the league is to provide an encouraging environment in which the qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun are highly valued.
We will hold evaluations on November 3rd and select teams after the evaluations. Practices will begin the week of November 5th with games beginning in early December. There will be no practices or games during Thanksgiving or Christmas break. The fee to participate will be $95. This will cover the cost of uniforms, shooting shirt, officials, and equipment. Please click here to register for the league. To participate in youth basketball, a participation waiver form will also need to be completed by the parent. You can bring the form to the evaluation in November.
· Chance to play a game in the Long Forum
· One night a week practice on campus
· 10 game regular season with games played on Saturdays on campus
· Season ends February 2nd
· Each player will receive a shooting shirt that can be worn on Fridays as Spirit Wear
