neighbors the Dominican Republic on the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean. Its two official languages are Haitian Creole and French. Haiti is a beautiful and mountainous country, but one with many struggles. It is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere and a land where there is far too little hope.
is a Christian foundation whose vision is to extend the love of God to needy people who live in conditions of relentless poverty in Cap Haitien and the surrounding communities. The EHIH also runs the Hope Haven Orphanage which provides for the serious needs of children in a homelike atmosphere where the children can find hope, peace and God’s love demonstrated through the loving care of God’s people.
We will assist the Eternal Hope in Haiti foundation in three areas of ministry: 1) hosting medical clinics, 2) working on the construction of their new orphanage facilities while improving their current facility, and 3) developing relationships with the children of the Hope Haven Orphanage and sharing the love of Jesus “to the least of these” (Matt. 25:35-40).
We will take a chartered bus from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and then board a chartered plane for the flight to Cap Haitien. While in Cap Haitien, we will use vehicles owned by the Eternal Hope in Haiti Foundation and driven by EHIH drivers.
We will stay in the beautiful Mont Joli Hotel, an international hotel overlooking Cap Haitien. A buffet breakfast and dinner will be provided at the hotel each day – sack lunches and snacks will be taken on site.
The trip cost is $1800. All checks should be made to “GACS”
