The 7th grade Spartan Football Team will be forming this summer and we would like to invite your son to join this group of young men. The 7th grade team is an extension of the Varsity Team and will run the same offense and defense. Learning the Spartan way of playing will give each player and our program an advantage in future years.
The 7th grade Spartans will play a seven game schedule against other private schools in the metro area. Practices will be held after school and games will be played mostly on Saturday mornings with a few Thursday evening games.
If you are interested in having your son join the 7th grade Spartan Football Team, please click here to register. There will be no organized practices for the 7th grade Spartans until the week of July 22. However, all Spartan Football players are encouraged to participate in Sports Performance Training at the school during the summer. For Sports Performance Training summer registration click here.
In addition to registering for the team and for sports performance training, please make sure that your son has completed GACS participation forms and has a cleared physical form. For these forms please click here.
Summer practices will be held on the evenings of July 23, 25, 30, and August 1. Official practice will begin on Monday, August 5 and will be held on the following days leading up to the Jamboree on August 24: August 5, 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22. Once the regular season begins, practices will be held three days each week with games on Saturday morning.
