athletic teams are proprietary marks of Greater Atlanta Christian School. The use of these names,
images, pictures, logos or typography is not permitted without written permission.
The volleyball program was started at GAC in 1998. Coach Kristy Shelton took over the program in 2001 and in 2004 the Lady Spartans made their first appearance in the state tournament making the Sweet 16 and finishing with a #8 ranking in the state. Since that time the volleyball team has continued to improve being ranked in the top ten in A/AA every year, finishing in the Final Four during the 2007 and 2009 season and as State Runner Up in 2011. The Lady Spartans volleyball team is known for their hard work, unity through Christ and service to others. The goal of the Lady Spartans is to be a courageous reflection of Christ.
