Every bright future begins with a strong foundation.
At GAC, our elementary program, rooted in Christian faith, is designed to cultivate curiosity, character, and excellence in every student.
From Kindergarten (K5) through 5th grade, students engage in hands-on learning that extends beyond the traditional classroom, challenging them to think critically, solve problems, and make meaningful connections. Guided by caring teachers who integrate faith into everyday learning, students build a strong academic foundation for the years ahead.
Inside Combee Elementary, learning spaces are designed with students in mind. From the Innovation Lab, where students explore STEM concepts, to the Nasmyth Environmental Center, where they connect with God’s creation outdoors, every space invites curiosity and discovery. Classrooms and shared spaces encourage collaboration and community in everyday learning.

Exploring Elementary Specials

Imaginative Library
In GAC's most recent Capital Campaign, the Combee Elementary Library was reimagined to encourage more creativity, imagination and story-telling. During their Library Special, students grow their love of reading and use the space to explore new ideas.

Environmental Learning
The Nasmyth Environmental Center (ELC) is a place where students connect with God's creation. Students of all ages help to grow plants, care for wildlife, learn about nature, and even explore places beyond GAC, like Lake Lanier. This weekly special is meant to disrupt the traditional learning setting and show students that they can learn anywhere.

Innovation
GAC has always valued creating opportunities for Elementary students to have STEM experiences. With the Innovation Lab, those opportunities have soared. Each week, students across all grade levels experience lessons from robotics to culinary to experiments.

Art & Music
The arts are an important part of the GAC Elementary School experience. Through weekly Art and Music classes, students are given opportunities to express themselves, explore their interests, and develop new skills. Each grade level performs in an annual music program, providing students with a meaningful opportunity to share their talents with family and friends.

Daily PE
We believe physical activity is vital to a student's development. That's why we allow our students to have PE every single day. This daily routine helps students stay active, build healthy habits, and develop resilience. Through our G.R.I.T. model, students are encouraged to try new things, persevere through challenges, and grow in confidence through Christ.
It's the whole package. My kids are growing up in a community where they belong, they feel safe, they feel loved, and are encouraged to explore the talents God has given them. Their teachers care deeply for them and communicate well ways in which our family can support their growth.
