Orchestra
Every student has a part to play.
Beginning in 5th grade, students develop their orchestral technique through focused instruction and exposure to a variety of musical styles. The program emphasizes both technical skill and artistic expression, helping students grow as musicians and performers. GAC’s Orchestra program provides students with opportunities to develop their skills through ensemble performance, rehearsals, and live concerts.

Performances Across Grades
One of the unique benefits of being an Infant–12 school is the opportunity for students to learn from and perform alongside students of different ages. The performance below brings together GAC’s Middle School Philharmonia Orchestra and High School Chamber Orchestra for a special combined performance.
Meet the Orchestra Director
More than anything, I want our students to leave the GAC orchestra program knowing that they are capable of more than they think they are. Learning an instrument requires patience, perseverance, discipline, and the ability to keep going when something is difficult. Those lessons extend far beyond the orchestra room.
