She has been dancing for 25 years and has studied with master teachers including Aldawna Morrison, Ramazan Bapov, Deneen Graham-Kerns, and Janet Lilly to name a few
Trained in and has choreographed in the following genres: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and Lyrical
Member of Dance Honors Society, Nu Delta Alpha. 2006-2010
Currently holds certification in both Jazz and Ballet, through the organization Dance Masters of America Chapter #33 (DMA)
Started the High School Dance Program at Greater Atlanta Christian School, 2015

Caroline was trained at the Carol Walker Dance Academy and graduated from Brookwood High School, both which had great influence on her passion for dance. While in high school, she also had the opportunity to perform in the Orange Bowl half-time show with the Doobie Brothers. Throughout her dancing career she has won various awards and scholarships for her excellent technique and training and is part of the esteemed Nu Delta Alpha Dance Honors Society. During her freshman year at the University of Georgia, she continued her dance training and was a member of the 2010-2011 football dance team, the Georgettes. From 2012-2013 she was a member of the DanceFX Concert Dance Company located in Athens, GA that performs locally as well as state-wide, giving her the opportunity to dance in the role of Tweedle Dee in their presentation of “Alice, Lessons in Wonderland.” While in college, Caroline also became certified through Dance Masters of America Chapter 33 in both ballet and jazz. In addition to the multiple roles Caroline plays at GAC, she also collaborates on cross curricular performances, chapels, and has helped choreograph the High School Drama Department’s Schuler Musical for three years. She has been teaching and coaching dance for nine years and has a passion for pouring her knowledge and love of dance into young performers. This past June Caroline was married to Matt Cates, who is also a teacher and coach!
