Spartan Aquatic Club

We are a year-round USA Swim Club Team, serving the greater Atlanta area in the world-class Freeman Aquatic Center at Greater Atlanta Christian School (GAC) led by World Championship Medalist Head Coach Karl Krug.

All of our coaches, as members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. We offer professional coaching for all levels of our sport and can help each individual achieve their goals.

The Spartan Aquatics Club offers swimming for all ages and skill levels including non-GAC athletes so we encourage you to invite all of your swim friends to join our program. Swimmers must be able to swim a 25 freestyle and 25 backstroke on their own to be on the team.

Coming Soon- New Outdoor Pool!

GAC is excited to announce plans for a new 10-lane, 50-meter heated outdoor pool as part of the Light the Way Capital Campaign! This new addition will support swimming across the metro-Atlanta community and increase flexibility for scheduling practices, meets, and events.

Championship Excellence

A tradition of national-record performances inspires every Spartan swimmer to pursue excellence in training and competition. Advanced video analysis, aquatic technology, strength programming, and specialized equipment help swimmers maximize performance.

Individual Development

Swimmers of all ages and skill levels receive purposeful training designed to help them improve and achieve their goals. The Spartan Aquatic Club welcomes GAC and non-GAC athletes into a supportive environment built on teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.

Expert Coaching

Certified, experienced coaches provide professional instruction with an exceptional swimmer-to-coach ratio and personalized attention.

Join Today!

Before joining Spartans Aquatic Club, all new athletes complete a brief swim evaluation. This process allows our coaching staff to assess each swimmer's current skill level and recommend the group that best matches their development.

The goal is to place each athlete in an environment where they can be successful, appropriately challenged, and prepared to continue moving forward.

Swim Lessons

Swim lessons now offered on the GAC campus.

Parents typically have to drive their child to another swimming facility for after school swim lessons. To make it easier on families and to expand our after school learning opportunities, GAC is now offering several after school swim lessons on campus in the state-of-the-art Freeman Aquatic Center, home of the swimming and diving teams.

There is an entire suite of swim lessons offered for all ages and abilities. Whether your child is new to swimming or would like to improve their stroke or technique, there is a swim class at GAC for them.
