We believe that every person and every community can Be Greater. GAC is an environment where every person has a calling and the opportunity to act with generosity on behalf of humanity.

Generosity is the thread that connects us in a supportive community that learns, worships, and serves together. Because of the hands-on, service-oriented learning that happens at GAC, students graduate with clarity about their future and the capabilities they need to achieve it.

By participating in mission work and service, our faculty models and invites students into service. Your child will have the chance to give their time locally as well as through national and global missions, contribute to clubs, and work as a leader to help shape the faith-infused learning that happens here at GAC.

GAC's impact is felt on a local, national, and international level through the work of our leaders and alumni.

GAC Impact

Apple Distinguished School

GAC serves as a national model for excellence in the implementation of technology in education. Recognized as an Apple Distinguished School since 2010, GAC continues to push the boundaries for what students and teachers can achieve with the right tools.

Jesse Long Interchange

Founder of GAC, the late Jesse Long (1932-2014), was recognized for his great contribution to Gwinnett County last September. Representative Clay Cox re-named I-85 at Indian Trail Road, Exit 101, as the Jesse C. Long Interchange. A forward-thinker, Jesse Long broke ground in this area to create our beloved GAC when Indian Trail Road was just a dirt trail in the middle of farmland back in 1968. Today, an estimated 80,000 cars travel through this interchange daily.

Gateway 85

GAC was an integral part of the birth of the Community Investment District (CID) and we continue to support their ongoing efforts. We are proud to have been involved in the improvement plans, development, and safety of our corridor.

David Fincher Proclamation

GAC’s Chancellor, David Fincher, was showered with praise by the Gwinnett County Commissioners for his impact on education within the country and state. Chair Charlotte Nash honored Dr. Fincher for GAC’s contribution to the county’s educational standards, techniques, and learning environments.

Impact Spotlights

We are proud to support the Rober Fowler YMCA during our annual Light Up the Corners event.

The Spartan community competes in family-friendly races while donning their best “lit” attire. All proceeds from the event benefit at-risk children and families in our community by giving them the chance to participate in life-enhancing programs and activities.

We are a Community

Dr. David Fincher

"Today’s GAC impacts literally thousands of lives. It’s incredibly rare for a school to embody strength in academics, innovative energy, and still remain deeply faith-filled. Yet GAC has become a visited site for school leaders from across the nation, a model of just how to do that."
