Laughter, fast clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this camp the summertime highlight for hundreds of kids nationwide.

This offering introduces students to the higher-level skills necessary for academic independence.  Using a growth mindset approach, this class enables students to develop an executive function system and build a strong work ethic.  The course will teach students how to organize materials, effectively read and take notes, plan and manage time, and study and take tests.

Do you know who invented the drinking straw? Did you know the invention of sticky notes was an accident? All of the simple things we use everyday were invented by someone, and they all have a few things in common. Come find out how inventors come up with their ideas using the scientific method, and become an inventor yourself. Who knows, you might need a patent before the end of the course! Students are led through the Scientific Method to explore their ideas and create what they have imagined, step by step.

This is an interactive class in which students solve coding challenges by using the Blockly app and the Dash robot. If students check off the list of coding challenges, the teacher will issue a Dash Driver's License to each student that completes the challenges. Students may then create their own challenges and race their bots under difference conditions through an obstacle course that they create!

TGA Flag Football camps offer an exciting mix of instruction, games, and drills to help campers develop passing, catching, and defending skills while having fun and building friendships. Coaches enforce a NO CONTACT policy to maintain Safety and promote life lessons including Teamwork and Sportsmanship. Get in the game with TGA’s Sports Medley Camp at GACS! Our action-packed camp will combine athletics, academics, and life lessons to create a dynamic experience that emphasizes safety, fitness, and fun. Certified coaches lead students through station-based drills and games that develop the fundamentals of throwing, catching, running, and defending skills used throughout many team sports. Each day will also incorporate a team game in line with the daily lesson to build skills and have a blast learning in a safe and supportive environment. All equipment will be provided for this camp.

Our tennis camp is perfect for that individual looking to enhance their individual skill sets in a competitive, fun and engaging environment. Our primary focus towards fundamentals such as proper technique, strategy, and movement will help your child enhance their overall game. Additionally, our drills are designed to push your child in challenging environment while we utilize these skills towards game based and match play drills.

Intro to Cheer teaches the fundamentals of all things cheerleading! TGA staff will be teaching jumps, motions, tumbling, stunts as well as a cheer and a cheer routine! We will hold a performance on the last day for parents to see the routine and all the skills each cheerleader learned. No prior cheer experience is required or expected. All equipment will be provided. With this camp being open for K-5th grade, we will adapt to each kid's abilities so everyone leaves having learned something new!

This camp will focus on dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. By the end of camp your child will have learned new game skills and also new life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship and made new friends. Each day will start out with a skill session and those skills will be reinforced by playing some fun games that will highlight what was learned that day! We can’t wait to see you!

Our apprentice level dance camp is a wonderful opportunity for dance students to extend their training through the summer break. A variety of praise and worship dance forms will be covered including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, and lyrical; as well as instruction in nutrition, dance history, make-up, hair, pantomime, and improvisation.  Schedule varies. A daily devotional will be given during the lunch break. The week will end with an in-studio demonstration. Parents, siblings, and friends are invited to attend.

This camp is for students who want an introduction to the world of musical theatre. Through music and basic choreography your children will learn and display all aspects of performance in a small show at the end of the week. Students will use theatre props, costumes, and magical music to bring their imaginations to life. Snack time is enhanced by a daily devotional, stories, crafts and theatre vocabulary. Come for smiles, songs, dance, and a ton of fun!

Students will apply theatre performance techniques through instructor led classes in prop design, movement, song analysis, and stage presence. Are you all ready to have some fun and learn to dance to your favorite pop songs? Get ready to imagine yourself in your favorite music video! This camp is a beginner/intermediate hip-hop camp. We will learn some new hip hop moves and grooves while incorporating performance skills, personality, and high energy. On Friday we will close out with a super fun dance performance - music video style!

Students will be separated into appropriate levels based on age and ability. Both classes will have focused ballet technique, pointe, and variations, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, tap (and more) classes daily. Additional classes include various genres of relevant dance technique. Professional guest teachers will join our teaching team.Students will have the opportunity to rehearse and perform in the new state-of-the art theatre on campus. On Friday, June 28 at 3:00 p.m., dancers will present a showcase performance open to family and friends in the Performing Arts Center, Artusa Hall.

This camp is mandatory for all GAC Middle and High School Dance Team participants.

Train a dragon, meet a panda, and explore the rainforest! Puppet Adventure Camp by P’s and Cues™ provides puppet shows that encourage imaginary play while introducing positive character traits. Participants experience a daily interactive puppet show and enjoy a craft related to the show along with story time, music, and recreation. Every child is part of the show!

Storybook Dance Camp is a creative movement camp that incorporates children’s literature, music, and art. Each session includes a creative ballet class including warm-up, ballet technique, center floor, and imagination movement. Storybook props, costumes, and magical music add to the fun! Every girl will fall in love with dance as they learn about their favorite characters and get swept away by their imaginations. Dancers will enjoy a snack time enhanced by a daily devotion, explore numerous novels, create story inspired crafts, and prepare special dances for family and friends. We invite dancers with any and all levels of experience to join us for a fun-filled week!

Do you love learning the latest TikTok dances? Come and learn dances that were even more popular years ago. This camp will take dancers through time by exploring dances that are still done today. We will learn a dance from the 20’s up until present day. Dancers will learn moves such as the Charleston, Hand Jive, Macarena, Twist, and even a dance from the TikTok era. This will be a great introduction to learning about the wonderful history of dance. Students will also have the opportunity to create choreography from each era. During our craft time we will design and create unique costume pieces from the decade we are focusing on that day! The week will end with a mini showcase sharing dances throughout the decades – like a mini “Taylor Swift Eras Tour.”

This camp is for students who want to expand and grow in their contemporary dance abilities. We will explore many different elements of contemporary dance such as, musicality, floor work, partner connection, themes and motifs, improvisation, and choreography. In addition, dancers will dive deeper into the different contemporary-modern techniques such as Graham, Horton, Dunham, and Limón. Throughout this camp dancers will create a mini contemporary show to showcase the many different elements and techniques of the style. At the end of the week, guests are welcome to attend the in-studio mini showcase.
