GAC’s after-school activities give Lower School students opportunities to explore interests, develop new skills, and build friendships beyond the school day.
Why drive all over Atlanta for private lessons, athletics and after-school activities? Your child can experience numerous convenient activities all on the GAC campus in a safe and nurturing environment. From youth athletics and arts to hands-on STEM experiences or after-school care, students can find meaningful ways to learn, create, play, and connect.
Discovery Activities
Discovery Activities, GAC’s after-school program, is designed for Early Childhood Village and Elementary students. From learning art and acting, to playing soccer and basketball – we’ve got an array of fun and skill-developing activities.
Youth Athletics
GAC Youth Athletics gives Lower School students opportunities to learn the fundamentals of sports, build confidence, develop teamwork and sportsmanship, and have fun with friends. Many programs are led by GAC varsity coaches or offered in partnership with varsity teams, giving young Spartans a pathway to grow within the GAC athletic program.
Encore After-School Care
Snack, homework time, and outdoor play are all part of the Encore experience, with added opportunities for fun, friendship, and engaging activities. Encore provides after-school care for students in K3 through fifth grade, Monday–Friday from 3:00–6:00 p.m., with care also available on select early dismissal or work days.
