Welcome! We look forward to another successful and wonderful school year. Thank you for your partnership as we work together to keep our community healthy and campus open and thriving.
As you review the following plan to welcome you safely to campus, you will see that GAC has worked to adapt to student and learning needs in transformative ways. Our team has carefully planned to ensure the health and safety of every member of our community while incorporating the best practices and protocols. At the same time, we want to assure you:
GAC has not changed in its foundation or focus. Scripture calls us to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything with prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7
We will use these premises to determine our health protocols and mitigation strategies now and the months ahead.
We will lean on these five premises as we continue to strive to make the very best decisions for our entire GAC community. And as we do, we will submit our plans to the Lord, asking for His guidance and help, and leaning on Him at every point along the way.
I’m thankful for our GAC families. You’ve partnered with us in new ways. You gave feedback to surveys, shared with friends why you selected GAC, and inspired and encouraged us. Yes, this is an uncertain time. Outlined on this page are our best plans based on what we know today. In looking back at the previous 18 months, we all know things can, and likely will, change. We will continue to communicate with our community often, share updates and provide ongoing transparency with positive cases, isolations, and quarantines.

GAC’s Synchronous Learning (GAC Sync) provides students real-time teaching and collaboration regardless of location, allowing our families the flexibility to choose (even on a daily basis) to attend school on campus, from home, or while traveling.
While we believe strongly in an on-campus learning experience with the vibrancy of full involvement during and beyond the school day, we also see the value of providing students an alternative to connect from home. GAC Sync was not designed to replace the on-campus experience, but rather to improve the student experience in learning, social-emotional health, and family life.
View the video below to see a demonstration.
Our goal is to bring our community back to campus while prioritizing everyone’s health and safety. We will need to work together to stay as healthy as possible, with measures in place to provide the best educational experience while protecting the health of every student and our faculty/staff.
We encourage every eligible member of the GAC Community to be vaccinated. This is not a mandate, but rather, a strong encouragement. Last spring we were pleased to provide seven vaccine clinics on the GAC campus with over 3,500 vaccinations and we recognize many more sought vaccinations from their healthcare providers. The decision to be vaccinated is up to each family and we encourage you to have a conversation with your child’s pediatrician if you have not done so already.
We will continue to encourage and expect every member of the GAC family to stay home at the onset of any symptoms of any illness. This has proven to be one of the strongest protections from the transmission of any illness. And GAC Sync makes it possible to stay home and also stay connected.
We recognize that an important element of the GAC mission, which is “to help each student grow as Jesus did in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and Man,” includes many experiences beyond the classroom. Our goal is to provide as many of these experiences as possible.
Please note: All students, including those choosing GAC Synchronous Learning (GAC Sync) from home, will be allowed to fully participate in all co-curricular and campus life activities at GAC.
