Trivon Howard

Trivon Howard, was born in Atlanta Georgia, where he pursued his dreams as an athlete and artist. Before his acting career, Trivon played semi-pro baseball after graduating from Claflin University, a HBCU in Orangeburg, South Carolina. When he decided to hang up his cleats in 2011, the creative side of Trivon kicked in and he hasn't looked back. While taking acting classes, Trivon appeared as a featured extra in Jackie Robinson's biopic "42", starring Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford. Trivon learned so much from the "42" experience, and saw first- hand how his background as an athlete can work with acting. He knew in order to achieve that level of artistry, he had to get stronger as an actor and put in the work. He made his on-stage debut in 2012 in the classic production, "Our Town", which opened the door for other theater productions, including his role as George Bailey in "Its A Wonderful Life" and Massa Williams in "Blood Water". Over the years his most challenging role on-stage was portraying civil rights activist, Malcolm X in "The Meeting", where his hard work made way to portray the icon for 2 consecutive years. He recently shared the stage with a breathtaking cast in August Wilson's "Jitney" and is currently preparing for David Feldshuh's "Miss Evers' Boys" at The Renaissance Theater Project. His start in student films helped him make the transition to film and television. He could be seen in commercials for "Chick-fil-A", "Home Depot", and "Duke Energy" along with independent films, "Tremble", "Yogurt Raisin", "Jones Plantation", "The Long Way Home", and "Denied". Like others in the industry, Trivon believes that he has so much to give, and what sets him apart is his ability to bring a vision to life.
