Dropping Off Macbooks, Books, and Other GAC Resources

As we approach the end of the school year, we are planning to host specific days and times with a pre-planned route through the campus to provide the opportunity to return GAC items (including technology equipment, textbooks and library books, as well as athletic uniforms).  You will also have an opportunity to drop off any used uniform items no longer needed (a collection bin will be at the Macbook/iPad collection point).  These appointment date/times will also be the way to come on campus and pick up items students may have left in classrooms.

We hope the ability to plan in advance will be an efficient use of your time and provide us with the opportunity to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all members of our GAC community.  Due to instructional learning through Thursday, May 21 collection is limited to specific dates and times starting Monday, May 11-Friday, May 29 between 10:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m. (excluding Memorial Day).  Therefore, appointments next week are mostly for Seniors who have finished classes and all end of year assignments.

Student athletes with Spartan team uniforms should plan to schedule their campus appointment to bring those items to campus according to the dates indicated with an asterisk (*) on the appointment form.

Please reserve a date and time when you plan to come to campus by clicking the button below so we can plan for your visit. Due to instructional learning continuing until the very last day of school, many families will need to select appointments after classes end. We recommend families with students in multiple school levels (including High School) make a single trip to campus to return everything at the same time by selecting an appointment on or after the last day of school, Thursday, May 21.

The campus map provided below details a specific directional route to guide you through the collection points on campus. Please note, the main entrance to the campus is closed for construction and therefore everyone will start at the Stadium entrance.

If you have any questions please contact your school level office.

Middle School and High School Students

  • All Seniors, as well as students who have not completed GAC enrollment for the next school year will need to return technology equipment and have all accounts cleared before final grades or a transcript can be released. Please plan to return:
    1. GAC technology equipment including power cord
      1. All should be fully charged and powered on for the check in the day of equipment return.
      2. Students should have all personal information they want to keep, backed up.
      3. MacBook cases (except for rising 5th graders) should be removed if they want to be retained.
      4. GAC chargers should be returned with the device in order to avoid extra expenses being sent to their student account.
    2. Spartan athletic team uniforms
    3. Textbooks and Library books
  • All current 6-11th grade students returning to GAC for the next school year will keep their Macbook through the summer, but should plan to return the following:
    1. Textbooks and Library books
    2. Spartan athletic team uniforms (Note: Athletics will only be collecting specific days marked with an asterisk (*) on the signup form.)
  • Please refer to the campus map for collection locations

Early Childhood Village & Elementary Students

  • Starting May 21, all current K4-5th grade students will return:
    1. Technology equipment (iPad or Macbook and power cords)
      1. All iPads/MacBooks should be fully charged and powered on for the check in the day of equipment return.
      2. Students should have all personal information they want to keep, backed up.
      3. MacBook cases (except for rising 5th graders) should be removed if they want to be retained.
      4. GAC chargers should be returned with the device in order to avoid extra expenses being sent to their student account.
    2. Library books (returned at Elementary/Village collection points)
    3. Any items checked out to students by teachers (textbooks/books and other resources such as manipulatives, study aids, etc.)
  • Before leaving campus, come through the school level carpool lanes and your child’s personal items that were left in their classroom will be placed in your car.

Thank you for your help in returning the appropriate items to GAC as the school year ends. Our goal is to keep this process as simple as possible to limit the amount of time you are on campus.
