The Prefect System might sound like something straight out of a Harry Potter novel. In actuality, it’s GAC’s new leadership program comprised of student leaders from the senior class (selected during their junior year) who possess a high degree of commitment to the school’s values and ideals.
 
Prefects, as they are known, create impact within the school community through servant leadership. These senior leaders are capable of overseeing the work in their particular areas and managing the underclassmen involved therein. We believe that positive peer influence has a powerful impact on student engagement and that this shift in our leadership paradigm will improve GAC once again. Vetted through a rigorous application process, these leaders will have an impact on everything from student life to publicity to admissions during the next school year. Congratulations to the selected students. We can’t wait to see all of the great things you accomplish!
