The Nutcracker is a seasonal favorite and a GAC Christmas tradition. We were delighted to continue this tradition and enjoy our middle school and high school dance elective classes as they performed this joyful holiday classic ballet. Set to Tchaikovsky’s familiar and exciting score, The Nutcracker featured colorful and lively characters, beautiful dancing, and eye-catching costumes. New characters and costumes are introduced each year, and this year did not disappoint! At GAC, we believe that our ability to dance is God-given, and it’s our joy to teach children how to worship and show glory to God through dance. We especially love to share this special gift with our beloved friends across the street at Meadowcreek Elementary with a special performance (livestreamed this year due to COVID-19) during their school day. Dancers were led by GAC High School dance elective teacher Mollie Henry and Middle School dance elective teacher Kara Johnson. GAC offers an extensive list of elective courses with rich learning opportunities in order to grow our Spartans’ talents in the areas they choose to pursue.
