Ben Sheppard: GAC Alum and Indiana Pacers' Rookie Enjoys His First Season in the NBA
Ben Sheppard (GAC Class of 2019) was drafted into the NBA this past summer by the Indiana Pacers with the 26th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. During his Rookie season, Sheppard has earned playing time in the Pacers' rotation. He has gone face-to-face against several NBA stars throughout the regular season.
Fellow classmate and former GAC basketball teammate, Jack Batten (GAC Class of 2019), interviewed Sheppard for the Gwinnett Daily Post after the Pacers played the Atlanta Hawks in the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament. In his homecoming return, Sheppard scored 5 points and added 1 rebound and an assist. Click here to read the entire interview.
