Congratulations to our Middle School and High School One Act Play participants!
Greater Atlanta Christian School earned standout honors at this year’s Georgia Theatre Conference, with both the Middle School and High School One Act ensembles bringing home top awards for their exceptional performances.
The Middle School One Act Play participants impressed audiences and judges alike with their performance of Charlotte’s Web. The production earned Runner-Up for Overall Production and the prestigious Judges’ Choice Award for Best Ensemble, highlighting the cast’s teamwork and artistic unity.
Congrats to Ariel Erickson for being recognized as Outstanding Leading Performer. In addition, Asantewaa Ameyaw, Jay Agarwal, Caroline Connett, and Elle Mosley (Lighting) received All Star Cast.
The High School One Act troupe achieved a major victory as well, winning the Ray Horne Festival with their production of This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries,This Girl Does Nothing. The cast also received the Judge’s Choice Award for Best Ensemble, a testament to their cohesive performance and compelling storytelling.
Congrats to Ayden Wood, Lauren Edmunds, and Morganne Shoop for winning All-Star Cast.
Our High School ensemble also took 1st place at the GHSA Region One Act Competition, and they’re headed to State! Go Spartans!!
