The NFL season is underway, and rosters across the league have been finalized. The state of Georgia alone currently has 140 players on active NFL rosters. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, GAC's Football program ranks third overall in the state of Georgia with four former Spartans that made an NFL Opening Day Roster. The entire list can be found here. 

These four GAC alumni helped take GAC's program to new heights, and are attempting to do the same at the NFL level. 

• Kalif Raymond (Class of 2012) (Detroit Lions)
• Darius Slayton (Class of 2015) (New York Giants)
• Davis Mills (Class of 2017) (Houston Texans)
• Chris Hinton (Class of 2019) (Los Angeles Chargers)

Darius Slayton returned to campus this past summer to host his "Slayton Skillz Camp" at Spartan Stadium. The New York Giants organization documented his return home in this feature interview.

In addition to the aforementioned players, two other Spartans are in the NFL. Micah Abernathy (Class of 2015) was placed on the practice squad for the Atlanta Falcons. He was interviewed on the "Falcons in Focus" podcast show. 

Devin Cochran (Class of 2016) has been placed on injured reserve for the season, however he is still a member of the Cincinnati Bengals organization.
