Four GAC Spartans Are Named as Gwinnett Daily Post "Super Six Athletes"

During each sports season, the Gwinnett Daily Post selects six athletes from each respective sports to be named as "Super-Six Athletes." These athletes are deemed to be one of the best players within Gwinnett County for their sport.

Four GAC Spartans were selected onto Super-Six teams. First up: sophomore Ava Kitchings.

Kitchings was a member of the 2023 AAAAA Girls Track and Field state championship team. She placed first in the long jump at the state meet (19 feet, 7 3/4 inches). Ava also placed 1st place in the long jump this weekend at the Coach Miami Bama Showcase with a jump of 19-4.25. Read more about Ava here

Next up, is senior Reese Black with our Varsity Girls Soccer team. Last season, Reese scored 23 goals and 14 assists over a 13-game span. She was also named as an All-County selection. Learn more about Reese Black here

Our final two athletes both play for GAC's Varsity Boys Lacrosse team. Senior Hunter Bryant and fellow senior Harrison Voelzke.

Bryant was named as an All-county selection last season after posting 36 goals, 18 assists, 47 groundballs and 11 caused turnovers. Voelzke is currently committed to the University of Richmond and he posted 41 goals, 26 assists and 26 groundballs last season. Read more about both lacrosse players here

Congratulations to all four athletes, and come watch them compete with their teammates this Spring.
