Marilee Karinshak, ‘22, has been selected for a summer internship at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). She will work in the Earth Science Division as part of the Biological Diversity & Ecological Forecasting Program.
Interns will advance the use of remote sensing for detecting, understanding, and forecasting life patterns on Earth. This position will examine strategies for advancing biological diversity and ecological forecasting programs. Interns also examine linkages and synergistic relationships between these programs and other activities within and outside of NASA.
Marilee just completed her first year at Washington University in St. Louis. She is pursuing a BS in Biology and Environmental Analysis and plays on the intercollegiate women’s soccer team.
