Entering the 2022-2023 season, GAC Athletics will now compete in a new classification: 5A (AAAAA) (the Spartans previously competed in 3A). Specifically, the Spartans will be a member of Region 6 and they will face the following teams listed below:

Under the leadership of GAC Head Coach and Athletic Director Tim Hardy, the Varsity Football team has amassed 109 victories over the last 10 years. This places GAC as the third winningest program in 5A over this time period according to the AJC. The Spartans will look to add to their win total this season, and the first game will occur on Friday, August 19th at Meadowcreek High School (7:30 PM Kickoff).
