Please join us in congratulating the GAC Class of 2021 Valedictorian Darlene Nguyen and Salutatorian Parker Hallock.

Darlene Nguyen of Duluth will attend Emory University in the fall to study biology as a pre-med student. While at GAC, Darlene participated in Varsity Tennis, Varsity Academic Team, and the Math Team. She was also named STAR Student and is a national merit commended student.⁠

Parker Hallock of Norcross will attend Georgia Tech in the fall with plans on pursuing a pre-law career path. A GAC “lifer,” Parker has spent 13 years with us. This past year he served the Senior Class as the Academic Prefect. He was selected for Georgia's Governor's Honors Program in Communicative Arts in 2020. Parker participated in baseball and cross country all four years of high school. He was on the Mock Trial Team and volunteered with Buddy Baseball, an organization that serves children with special needs. He was also voted the 2020 Homecoming King. ⁠

The 172 outstanding graduates will matriculate to colleges and universities from coast to coast. Commencement will occur on May 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the Long Forum on the GAC Campus, 1575 Indian Trail Road, Norcross, GA. Graduation is reserved for the graduates' families and will be live-streamed on GAC’s website.
