After falling to Westminster in their previous two matchups, the GAC Varsity Girls Basketball team faced the No. 1 seeded Wildcats again in the Region 5-AAA Championship Game. With the Region Tournament being hosted in the Long Forum, the Spartans had home court advantage. In front of a raucous crowd, GAC overcame a quick start by Westminster and instilled their will to a 55-38 victory. Leading the way for the Spartans was junior guard Kaleigh Addie who scored 29 points. Juniors Jaci Bolden and Mollie Pritchard added 10 and nine points respectively. Senior Lauren Randolph offered excellent rim protection and added six points as well.
