The Spartans (18-3, 7-0 Region) punched their ticket to the State Championship match for the second consecutive year with a commanding 2-0 semifinal victory over Whitefield Academy last night. With the win, GAC extended its playoff dominance, having outscored opponents 28-0 through the first three rounds of the Private School state playoffs.

Next up for the Spartans: a marquee matchup with Lovett in the championship final on Wednesday, May 14 at 5 PM at Duluth High School.

The defending 5A State Champions are on a mission to repeat, following last year’s unforgettable title win over Cambridge High School that was decided in penalty kicks. With their undefeated region record and postseason shutout streak, this year’s squad has shown the same grit, composure, and excellence that delivered the crown in 2024.
