James Sorenson Is Named As A Gwinnett Daily Post Super-Six Athlete for Swim & Dive

GAC senior James Sorensen has been named a Gwinnett Daily Post Super Six Athlete for his excellence in the pool and leadership within the Spartan Varsity Boys Swim program. A state champion in the 100 backstroke and runner-up in the 100 butterfly last season, Sorensen’s talent and consistency have been vital to GAC’s success, including the boys’ GHSA A-AAA Private School state title run last year.

Sorensen is known for his drive, discipline, and team-first mentality. Head coach Emily Krug praised him as “an exceptional athlete and leader” whose attitude and example set the standard for the program. With his senior season ahead, Sorensen is poised to make an even greater impact both individually and as a cornerstone of Spartan Swimming.
