Jessica Carothers, class of 2019, signed her U.S. Naval Academy Commitment Papers in August on "Two for Seven Day". This significant commitment entails two more years of education at the Naval Academy, followed by an additional five years of service in the Navy or the Marines.

Jessica is the fourth in her family to attend the United States Naval Academy. Her older brothers Michael '08, Matthew '11, and Paul '15 are all graduates of GAC and the USNA. Furthermore, the Carothers family's connection to GAC continues as Jessica's younger brother, Connor, is currently in 9th grade. 

Terry Carothers, Jessica's mother, says, "Praising God above for all his blessings! So very thankful to Greater Atlanta Christian for instilling high morals, Godly character, and academic excellence in Jessica."
