GAC was well-represented at the 2025 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, as GAC Sports Information Coordinator Chris Sharp attended the premier scouting event and caught up with Myles Hinton (GAC Class of 2020). Hinton, a 2023 National Champion offensive tackle from the University of Michigan, took part in a schedule of interviews with NFL teams, medical examinations, and on-field drills as he inches closer to his dream of playing in the NFL.
Hinton is no stranger to football excellence. He is the son of Chris Hinton Sr., a seven-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle who starred for the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons. His brother, Christopher Hinton Jr., currently plays defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Chargers, making Myles the latest in the family’s impressive football lineage.
At the combine, Hinton measured in at an imposing 6-foot-7, 323 pounds, with arms just over 34 inches—an important distinction for an NFL offensive tackle. While he only recorded one official testing number, a 31.5-inch vertical jump (which ranked sixth among offensive linemen), he impressed during on-field drills with his agility, power, and technique.
Hinton’s performance in Indianapolis only solidified his standing as a promising NFL prospect. As draft season heats up, teams will continue to evaluate his skill set, size, and football pedigree. The Spartan community is proud to see one of its own take this significant step toward professional football. Watch the full interview with Myles Hinton below.
