The Detroit Lions Go "Under the Helmet" with GAC Alum Kalif Raymond

Kalif Raymond (GAC Class of 2012) is currently playing for the Detroit Lions as wide receiver and punt returner. During his seven years in the NFL, Raymond has enjoyed both trials and triumphs on the field. The Detroit Lions are conducting an on-going series of documentaries where they take a look "Under the Helmet" at the players on their team. Raymond was the featured in the most recent episode, which can be seen in its entirety below:
During his time at GAC (2009-2012), Raymond was a star receiver for the Spartans and totaled 30 receptions for 511 yards and 9 touchdowns during his high school career. An injury set Raymond back initially, but he was able to continue playing at the College of the Holy Cross where he amassed 4,059 all-purpose yards with 18 total touchdowns during his collegiate career.
Entering the NFL, Raymond went undrafted after the 2016 NFL Draft, and later signed with the Denver Broncos. After bouncing around the league for a few years, Raymond found good landing spots with both the Detroit Lions and the Tennessee Titans. During his NFL career so far, Raymond has caught 71 passes for 987 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Despite the odds being stacked against him, Kalif Raymond continuing to pursue his goal for excellence both on and off the field.
