Congratulations to GAC Varsity Cheer for placing third overall in Class 3A. The Spartans traveled down to Columbus, Georgia to compete in the GHSA Gameday Cheer State Championship. This is GAC’s first season ever competing in the Gameday category and finishing in the top three is an amazing accomplishment.

Varsity head coach Karyn Arnold was thrilled with the result.

"Coach Wilson, Coach Thomas, and I couldn’t be more proud of this team and how much they’ve grown this season! Our goal was to perform a clean routine, have fun, and try to make it to finals. This team made history by making it to finals, being called down to mat (top 6), and placing 3rd in the state. Our first year as a game day is one I will never forget! To God be the glory. Go Spartans!"
