The GAC Varsity Girls Basketball team delivered a dominant performance on the road, defeating Athens Academy 53–33 to earn a spot in the GHSA Private Class Final Four.

Milan Johnson led the Spartans with a game-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers, 12 rebounds, and three steals. Freshman standout Peyton Frazier was a force inside with 14 points and 15 rebounds, helping GAC control the glass with 43 total rebounds.

Despite facing injuries during the season, the Spartans showed resilience and balance in this Elite Eight victory.

Next up, GAC will play the winner of Galloway vs. Holy Innocents’ on Friday at Akins Ford Arena (5 PM) back in Athens, GA with a trip to the state championship game on the line.
