Student Counseling

The Student Counseling Department facilitates the academic, spiritual, social, and emotional growth of each student.

Our goal is to maximize success by helping students remove learning obstacles so they can thrive at GAC. We spend a lot of time with our students. We know them. We work with students, meet with parents, consult with faculty, and integrate the school's mission to make sure they have the tools to succeed. Our counselors provide a supportive environment for students to help them identify appropriate paths in academics, activities, and eventually college placement.

Services Include:

  • Classroom guidance
  • Group and individual counseling
  • Academic Support
  • Crisis intervention
  • Student and family advocacy
