Young Learners

Early learning at Greater Atlanta Christian School begins with our Young Learners

It’s a joyful, energizing place to learn, grow, and play. We welcome infants (six weeks) through age three (turning 4). Students then move to our Early Childhood Village – an enchanting town-like setting for students in kindergarten through pre-first grade. After starting in these vibrant environments, many families decide to make GAC their academic home through high school graduation.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia “learn through play approach,” our program encourages children to take an active role in learning. We solidify the essentials – letters, numbers, shapes, and colors – infusing music and creative movement. We value respect and collaboration, so children develop their innate gifts while building kind and loving friendships with classmates.

Our students benefit from enriching one-on-one instruction tailored to each one’s proficiency and readiness. They explore themes through a variety of sensory approaches that are both enriching and developmentally appropriate.

Child development specialists, licensed classroom teachers, and experienced childcare givers work in concert to attend to our littlest students’ needs, creating a safe environment where children are known and loved. These educators establish an academic foundation that fully prepares students to continue their studies at GAC.

Young Learners Academy offers school-year as well as a year-round program. Half-day and full-day options are available for two, three, four, and five-day programs.
