Alumni Tuition Grant

We want you home and we are listening.

For many Alumni, they want to be here but feel a GAC education is out of reach for their family.

GAC’s new Alumni Grant program provides tuition assistance for the children of our alumni.  This program began with a generous gift in celebration of GAC’s 50th birthday. We invite you to consider making GAC a family tradition that extends beyond your years on campus.

We’re rolling out the red carpet for Spartan alumni. We’ve created a pathway to make affording a GAC education for your children within reach.

Contact Mary Helen Bryant directly at mbryant@greateratlantachristian.org for more information about our Alumni Grant Program.

List of 6 items.

  • Can I apply for financial aid in addition to the Alumni Tuition Grant?

The Alumni Tuition Grant is designed to meet the financial needs of our Alumni families.  Thus, upon submission of your application for the Alumni Tuition Grant, the school will also consider your total financial need, and may provide financial aid to meet any demonstrated need beyond the Alumni grant.  If you receive some other form of tuition remission that exceeds the Alumni Tuition Grant, only the larger tuition remission amount will be applied.
  • Do all alumni who apply receive an Alumni Tuition Grant?

All alumni who submit an application for an Alumni Tuition Grant will receive some level of discount.
  • How do I start the process?

We love our alumni and look forward to helping you in any way we can. Contact Director of Admissions, Mary Helen Bryant (GAC Class of ’87) to learn more about GAC as well as the Alumni Tuition Grant.  We also invite you to contact GAC Admissions for a tour or begin an admissions application online
  • How is the size of my family’s Alumni Tuition Grant determined?

The Alumni Tuition Grant fund is designed to assist as many Alumni families as funding will allow. Therefore, K4-12th grade grants are awarded on a sliding scale. A third party company (TADS) assists with the collection of documentation and assignment of awards. The students applying to Young Learners (Infants-K3) will receive a flat 25% discount.
  • If I have multiple children, do I need to complete the paperwork multiple times?

No. Grant applications are submitted by family, not student although each award will be separate and unique to the student applying.
  • Who is eligible for an Alumni Tuition Grant?

The children of former GAC students and graduates qualify. Children applying for K4-12th grade can receive an Alumni Tuition Grant. Alumni children who apply to Young Learners receive a flat 25% discount as part of the Alumni Tuition Grant.
