  • When can my family visit Greater Atlanta Christian School?

    The best time to visit GAC is while school is in session and the campus is alive with activity, but we are glad to schedule a campus visit anytime during the year. We offer "Toursday" visits most Tuesdays and Open House events throughout the school year. Students are welcome to join parents.
  • Into which grades does GAC accept students?

    We accept qualified students into grades K4-12 as space permits. Our expansion years are Kindergarten, 6th, and 9th grades. This is when our class sizes grow and we have the most openings. GAC also offers a Young Learners program specifically designed for infants to three-year-olds.
  • When can I apply?

    Online applications are available the first week of October for the following academic year. While GAC does offer rolling admissions, (we are able to accept qualified candidates throughout the year, provided there is space available) beginning the process early will help make the process go as smoothly and stress-free as possible.
  • What are the teacher qualifications at GAC?

  • Do you have a before-school and after-school program?

    Yes. Before-school supervision and after-school care are available for students in grades K4-5. GAC strives to serve the needs of parents by providing care in a loving and safe Christian environment. Children are grouped by age and engage in activities that encourage creativity, social relationships, appropriate behavior and positive self-image. Daily activities include snack time, homework period, organized/ supervised play, and theme-centered activities. Discovery Activities and extra-curricular enrichment programs are also available to students in grades K4-8 after school.
  • Is there a uniform policy?

    Yes. All students in grades K4-12 are required to wear uniforms. All uniforms may be purchased conveniently at the Spartan Store, located in the Student Family Center.
  • What are the age requirements for students at GAC?

    The cut-off date for entry into grades K4-1st will follow the same guidelines as the state of Georgia. For the 2017-2018 school year, the date will be on or before August 1. For the 2018-2019 school year and beyond, the date will be on or before July 1.
  • What are the school day hours?

    School times vary according to school level:
