Community Impact

To kick off the school year, we had an amazing opportunity to serve the teachers and students of our neighboring school, Meadowcreek Elementary. Our community collected school supplies and made supply buckets for 40 classrooms so that the teachers of Meadowcreek do not carry this burden alone. We are excited for all Spartans to Serve Together. 

Every year, GAC’s heavy laden buses and trucks annually bring cheers and delight as our students deliver nearly 20,000 cans for the Salvation Army CanAThon. In 2018, the generous contributions from our Spartan community represented 25% of all Gwinnett County donations.

For over 20 years, GAC has hosted the Special Olympics on campus. This event gives these incredible athletes a real opportunity to shine and create cherished memories. This annual tradition requires the help and support of the entire Spartan community, and they deliver an exceptional event year after year.

Faculty, staff, students, and their families participated in a day of service honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. Together, they prepared meals and delivered them to those in need, served in a food pantry, and helped set up a homework club. 

At GAC, we believe that everyone can use their God-given talents to lift others. Our dance programs perform throughout the community. Locations include the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory, Village Park, and Meadowcreek Elementary.

We want everyone to enjoy the blessings we enjoy, which is why the GAC community rallies to feed hungry kids who live close to campus. By providing volunteer support for Project Kids Eat, Spartans help feed at-risk students in our community.

GAC helps coordinate volunteer efforts to staff the Junior Achievement’s Biz Town and Finance Park, financial literacy workshops that teach K–12 students vital money management skills.
