Greater Atlanta Christian School students share their gifts with other individuals and communities, as they develop as global citizens. We join and lead mission teams and service projects in our own communities and across the world.
Mission projects are carefully selected and are ones where students can make a difference, find their place in the world, and see firsthand the power of God’s love. In some cases, our students are serving in communities that may not know God’s love. Last year, more than 200 faculty and students had the opportunity to volunteer. From middle school to high school, our students find ways to travel, serve, and learn that are appropriate for their age and stage.
We see how serving transforms children into insightful, confident, and generous adults. For some students, GAC missions are the chance of a lifetime. For others, they are the beginning of a lifetime of travel and service. Join us in sharing God’s word and example.
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Ephesians 2:10 NIV
“Coming home from China, I thought that those kids were the ones who changed me and showed me Jesus’ love. This is very cool to think about. The most appealing part of this trip is that we get to do experience what Jesus did. He loved the unlovable and gave them a home.”
